I’ve had a rough week, so I’m just going to continue my series of posts where I overshare details of my life to the six paid subscribers on this Substack (you’re all incredible humans, thank you so much for the support, I mean it).
We all have our own stories of how we quit drinking. Mine begins in November 2022 on a bus from the small town of Greve in Tuscany to Florence and continues on a train to Milan. Through a series of events (which I touched on in my previous post), I had already been researching the space of non-alcoholic bars, beverages, and sobriety. I wasn’t considering quitting drinking myself until I listened to an episode of the Seltzer Squad podcast and… heard my own story on it. Oh so you can be an on-and-off social drinker, take it or leave it, but a lot of bad shit happens throughout your life which is frequently caused by drinking, and then you quit and things actually get… better? Crazy, if true.
